Shifts are happening constantly in life, whether we notice them or not. Sometimes, parts of our life don’t seem to be where we want them to be, and that’s okay. The key is to keep pushing forward and to surround yourself with people who genuinely want the best for you.
The pst few months was particularly challenging for me, both emotionally and mentally. As an entrepreneur, I found myself at a point where I thought, “Maybe I need to scrap everything and start over.” It was one of those moments where the stress of it all had me reconsidering everything. This is part of the emotional ride that comes with entrepreneurship—the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
But what saved me from sinking deeper into that mindset was the incredible support system I’ve been blessed with. Instead of allowing myself to spiral, I picked up the phone and called my coaches and close friend. They listened, encouraged, and gave me the perspective I needed to pull myself out of the mental pit I was on the verge of falling into.
This experience reminded me of something fundamental: your mindset is everything. Without the right people around you—your tribe, your support system—it’s easy to fall into a continuous spiral of self-doubt and negativity. It’s like being stuck in a cycle, fighting against yourself, and never making the progress you truly want.
That’s why it’s so important to check your surroundings. Who are you spending your time with? Are they uplifting you or pulling you down? Do they want to see you thrive, or are they neutral when you need support the most?
As entrepreneurs, we need to be intentional about the people we let into our circle. Our success depends not only on our skills and strategies but also on our mindset. And a strong support system is key to nurturing a positive mindset. It helps us become better for ourselves, our families, and our businesses.
So, take stock of your tribe. Are they encouraging you to grow, or are they hindering your progress? Surround yourself with people who want to see you succeed, and don’t hesitate to lean on them when times get tough.
That’s what I did, and it made all the difference.
Be blessed
